3. Spiral staircase providing external access to balconies on the first and second floors of a hospital in Bad Wärishofen. The concrete step elements are slid over a steel tube column. The balusters are embedded in concrete beneath the steps. 4. Concrete spiral staircase in the semi-open tower of the Catholic parish church in Birsfelden/Basel. Architect: Hermann Baur, Basel. The staircase leads to the bell chamber.
