Mountain Hotel in Japan
Nasu is a small spa town with hot springs, situated at an altitude of approximately 1000 metres in the mountains of the Tochigi region, about 100 km north of Tokyo. Steep mountain ranges rise to the north; to the south, there is a wide view across the plains of Konto and Shirakawa (the spot where the hotel has now been built has always been a popular viewpoint).
