Precast Concrete Facade in a Historical Setting
The planning of this building block, which was intended to fill one of the last large gaps in the urban fabric of Munich's old town resulting from war damage, presented several unusually difficult challenges. The construction program required the accommodation, within a compact building block, of a large restaurant, a department store, and parking facilities for approximately 220 vehicles, along with all the necessary operational and ancillary spaces.
