Exhibition Hall Constructions
Halls of the Hanover Trade Fair. Architect Friedrich Hüper, Hanover. Halls 16A and 6B are each 100 x 100 m. Load-bearing structure in steel or reinforced concrete. Hall 16A: Two bays of 50 m each, maximum height 11.65 m, minimum height 8.15 m, truss spacing 12.50 m, central columns at eaves height 1 x 2.50 m (tapering upwards and downwards to 1 x 1 m). Hall 16B: Three bays of 33 m each, maximum height 11.50 m, minimum height 8 m, truss spacing 12.50 m, inner row of tubular columns C/J 27 cm, reinforced concrete columns on the longitudinal walls 30/59 cm, on the gable walls 40/69 cm.
