The floor plan is based on a uniform grid spacing of the columns. Between five masonry walls of mortared exposed brickwork, wooden or wood-glass elements were inserted and covered with roof slabs in a timber beam construction. The roof beams extend beyond the wall line on all sides and are visible both inside and out in the purlin area. The spaces between the purlins are clad with louvers, partially concealing cross-ventilation openings.
