Country House in Mischbauweise

The detached house, situated in a wooded, mountainous area, offers approximately 90 square metres of usable space. It is a single-storey, flat-roofed structure designed so that the living space opens onto both sides of the valley, maximizing the potential for expansive views. The house is built using a hybrid construction method, incorporating principles of barn and stable construction typical of the region. Timber-framed walls with window and door openings are inserted between masonry partitions and pillars. The masonry is smoothly plastered and painted white with emulsion paint. The horizontal sheathing of the timber-framed walls is treated with a dark brown protective coating.
