Office Building in Precast Concrete Construction
The four-storey building has a central core containing stairwells and elevators. Shops occupy the ground floor, while administrative offices are located on the upper floors. The building is largely constructed using a precast concrete system. The facade incorporates the following elements into the prefabricated columns: the exterior parapet elements, the support brackets for the single-pipe heating system, and the shafts and wiring for the electrical and telephone lines. The aluminium windows (Erbslöh) are directly connected to the precast facade elements by bolts and caulk, without the need for steel frames.
