The hall serves not only for sports training but also for various competitions. It is connected to a shooting range. This resulted in an elongated building complex, with the ancillary rooms located along an entrance corridor on the hall's longitudinal axis. The hall is spanned by prefabricated, three-part reinforced concrete frames with a width of 18.50 metres. The 7.80-metre-high columns stand freely in front of the facade, which consists of glass blocks on the north side and brickwork with clinker facing on the other sides. The longitudinal cornice beams and the multi-layered roof structure are suspended from the reinforced concrete girders.
