Academy in Mülheim/Ruhr.

The buildings of the academy's expansion program comprise the guesthouse, the hall, and the corridors connecting them to the existing building. The prefabricated exterior walls are constructed primarily of double-glazed units, asbestos cement composite panels with insulation, and steel profiles and sheets. - Guesthouse: The reinforced concrete ceilings rest on the Durisol shear wall system of the room partitions. U-shaped steel bars and anchor bolts were embedded in the ceiling formwork, and flat steel anchors were cast into the shear wall heads. Each steel frame element of the window facades encompasses the exterior surface of a room, including the window, sill, and balcony door. The frame elements are suspended from the U-shaped steel bars at the ceiling edge by steel brackets.
