Exterior walls made of non-load-bearing precast Betan panels; 1.55 m grid spacing. The modular design allowed for identical elements for the parapets, the story-high wall sections, and the ceiling strips. The projections of the parapet elements accommodate the radiator niches without any loss of interior space. The panels, used flush with the formwork, are manufactured to precise profiles (execution: shock-resistant concrete). Joints are tongue-and-groove, with subsequent mortaring and sealing of approximately 10 mm width using permanently elastic sealant.
