Kindergarten in Zürich-Affoltern
Two square kindergarten rooms are slightly angled towards each other. A cloakroom lies between the two rooms. Toilets and heating are located in the extension. Outside, there are play areas, separated by the covered entrance forecourt and the external equipment sheds. The tent-like main rooms are designed in proportion and furnishings to suit children's experiences. - Construction: Load-bearing structure in exposed concrete. The non-load-bearing perimeter walls are made of prefabricated exposed concrete elements with lightweight aerated concrete infill.
