Hall of the Protestant Academy in Mülheim/Ruhr. Architect: Dipl.-Ing. F. G. Winter, Krefeld (see also Detail 2, pp. 200 ff.). The entire hall is supported lengthwise by two welded steel frames, spanning freely above the slope of the ground. The substructure of the slatted wood paneling is screwed to the wedge-shaped timber beams of the concrete ceiling using angled brackets. The air conditioning system is located behind the continuous cladding of the end wall, which extends from the ceiling.
