Stair Railing

1. Stair railing made of square steel tubes, anchored between the steps and in the masonry. Executed at the entrance of a church in Stuttgart, according to the design of architect Wolf Irion, Stuttgart. 2. Stair railing at the entrance of a residential building on Lake Como. Angle irons (the upper one also forms the handrail) are welded to the square bars at the top and bottom of T-shaped steel supports. 3. Stair railing and balustrade of a residential building near Sandrio. Cantilevered concrete steps are anchored in natural stone masonry. Angle irons are welded to the top and bottom of square steel supports; thin square bars are welded to these angle irons and are cross-braced at the bottom by an additional flat iron bar.

Stair Railing
