The shed halls house the new car department (5738 m²), the spare parts warehouse (1640 m²), and the workshop (1491 m²). The shed hall was roofed according to a design developed by the engineers Weder and Prim. The shed span is 13.05 m (for two cars with 4 m and 5 m clearances); the span of a beam bay is 16.40 m (for nine cars); the clear headroom under the beams is 4.20 m; and the ridge height is 9.20 m. The hall's construction consists of prefabricated hollow slabs made of prestressed concrete (11.88 m long, 1 m wide, 0.32 m high, and weighing 4.3 t each) forming the ceiling and roof.
