Built-in shelving units: 1. (p. 491) Study bookcase. Uprights in dark-stained birch, shelves in teak; storage cabinet in natural birch; sliding doors with maple handles. Design: Architect: P. F. Schneider, Cologne. 2. Cabinet units of a clamped Wieser frame. An existing hi-fi system was housed within (Architect: Ulrich P. Wieser, Zurich). 3. Fixed shelving unit with rigid cabinet units and integrated light diffuser; the individual elements painted in different colours. 4. Sliding cabinet and pull-out shelf base with matching table (Architect: Ico Parisi, Como). 5. Shelf-forming cabinet units on space-tensioned brackets (Architects: Georgio Zagacci and Mario Bicossi).
