Openwork partition and screen wall at the youth hostel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Architect: Dipl.-Ing. Ludwig Schwarz, Munich. Constructed with alternating precast concrete blocks of two sizes (detail above from a variant of the same design). 3. Facade detail from a new bank building of the "Banca di Milano" in Milan. The ends of the floor slabs are clad in black-painted sheet steel. These horizontal bands, together with the vertical, projecting I-profiles, form a uniform grid.
