Comprehensive Schools in the Main-Taunus District
The facade on the upper floor consists of exposed concrete parapets constructed in a sandwich design with a wood formwork texture. The window bands running between the parapets feature 2.40 m wide aluminium sliding windows. The 60 cm wide gaps between the columns are closed by a fascia within the window structure. The window axes align with the grid pattern in the ceiling, allowing for the installation of partition walls at these points. Window-width external venetian blinds are installed behind a continuous exterior fascia for sun protection. The ground floor and the light wells are clad with floor-to-ceiling aluminium facade elements.
