Headquarters of a Manufacturer of Packaging Machines in Mex

Since the 1970s, a manufacturer of machines for the packaging industry has owned a more than 71-acre area of land only a few minutes from Lausanne in the hilly landscape of the Swiss canton of Waadt. In the course of a restructuring programme with the aim of centralizing its entire production chain, the company has invested Sfr 180 million here in a development project. The measures include the construction of a new canteen and children’s crèche, and the extension of the existing production facilities on the southern part of the site to a total area of 14,000 m². To the north, defining the entrance situation, a new main administrative tract was created as a kind of flagship for the industrial area as a whole.
