Object+Product: Kaldewei Competence Centre in Ahlen
“Like a perfectly designed car that moves even when stationary, captivating not only the viewer’s mind but also their heart,” is how Christian Kaldewei describes his company’s new Competence Centre (KKC) in Ahlen. “We want to make the core of the company’s brand tangible. The core of the company is Kaldewei Enamel. Our in-house production of enamel for our products is unique worldwide and a standout feature. This core competency is also clearly reflected in the exterior design of the KKC,” the young entrepreneur explained at the building’s inauguration. From the facade, the visualization of the enamel theme extends throughout the entire building, culminating in a highlight: a view into the enamel melting process.
