The villa in Geldrop, designed by Hofman Dujardin Architects from Amsterdam, appears at first glance to be unspectacular, seeming like a simplified version of the "gable-roof house" architectural type. The building is elongated, with generous glazing on the south side and gable ends. It sits at ground level on the green field, and an unpaved path leads across the property to the house. One is almost tempted to drive up in a tractor – the idyllic village setting all around makes one want to.
