Construction: The trelag structure is a skeletal frame construction using glued laminated timber with column axes of 21.00 x 10.50 m. The floor plan and construction are designed to accommodate a possible future extension along the 10.50 m axis. The main girders (beams) span 21 m as continuous beams with Gerber hinges. The secondary girders span 10.50 m as simply supported beams. Both the main and secondary girders cantilever 87.50 cm at the roof edges. The columns have a cross-section and are fixed at their base. The recessed exterior walls consist of full-height timber frames with glazing or infill panels. The roof is made of trapezoidal steel sheets (SAG); a flat, warm roof construction.
