The grounds in Aachen's Soers district offer dedicated facilities for all equestrian disciplines and are internationally renowned. Here, glamour in the form of famous personalities meets fierce sporting competition. Dressage is a prime example: the graceful elegance of each performance only hints at the rigorous discipline and effort behind it. It is so captivating that tickets for the world's largest dressage stadium sold out a year in advance. As a result, the Aachen-Laurensberger Racing Club, which manages the grounds, decided to expand the dressage stadium with a grandstand offering an additional 1,200 seats.
