School Cafeteria in Versailles
The “La Bruyère“ secondary school is located in the heart of Versailles just one kilometre from the Palace of Louis XIV. Founded in 1895 it now includes four buildings: the original school building dating from the end of the 19th century, another teaching building and a cafeteria from the 1980s, as well as a boarding facility dating from the 1990s. The school cafeteria connects to the ground floor of the old school building but, because the terrain rises steeply here, is located underground. The only daylight comes through skylights.
