Apartment Building, Dantebad, Munich
The rounded corners of the 112 m long block in the north of Munich recall a ship. Located between an outdoor swimming pool and a sports ground, with four residential floors elevated above public parking spaces at ground level, the building creates a new edge to the road. Mostly system built, it is the first project in the urban programme “Wohnen für alle” which provides housing for refugees and those in need in the context of Munich‘s pricy real estate market.
