That "art in architecture" can be more than just the state's obligation to invest a certain percentage of the construction costs of public buildings in art is demonstrated by the example of a residential complex by Südhausbau on Urbanstrasse in Munich. The involvement of the artist Sabrina Hohmann resulted in a facade design with a playful character and a poetic connection to the local area. In an almost symbiotic relationship between art and architecture, 69 pebbles from the nearby Isar River were selected, corresponding to the number of apartments, and incorporated into the surrounding parapet bands.
