Bath House in Karlshamn

The Kallbadhus, a bathhouse standing on stilts in the sea, close to the coast, is a building type found throughout Sweden. This new interpretation by White Arkitekter in Karlshamm in the south of the country is the result of an initiative by a private association. With the support of the town administration and private sponsors, the initiators have created a place to bathe year-round in the Baltic, near the municipal indoor and outdoor pools.
