In its facades, with triangular glazing elements set at different angles to each other, this office building reflects the lights and colours of the surroundings in kaleidoscopic manner. Set in a prominent position south of the central station in Berlin, the 42-metre-high free-standing cube by the Copenhagen architects 3XN has a sculptural effect and enlivens Washington Square as part of the Europacity master plan. Over 10 storeys, office areas of 17,000 m² afford space for flexible use by the tenants. Whether divided storey for storey into separate units or linked by internal atria, whether in the form of single workplaces, large-area offices or in a combination of both, behind the room-height glazing round the central core anything is possible.
