Factory Workshop near Madrid

An exterior view of the new factory workshop in Pinto, about 20 kilometres south of Madrid, makes it clear that the building consists of prefabricated components. The appearance of the hall, designed and used by Studio Ensamble as a prototyping and production workshop, is defined by galvanised and uniformly dimensioned sheet steel elements. Set in front of translucent polycarbonate panels, they comprise a multitude of frames alternately featuring diagonals ascending to the left or right in altogether four rows placed on top of each other. Each of the prefabricated facade elements consists of eight frames.
