Factory for Leather Goods in Condé

Louis Vuitton, the French fashion concern, attaches great importance not only to the design of its products, but to the architecture of its shops. Indeed, even the manufacturing plants are coming to play an increasingly prominent role as an expression of the firm’s corporate identity. In the centre of France, near the small town of Issoudun, the company has built a new factory for the production of leather goods. With its striking, cantilevered roof, the development is well embedded in the undulating, rural landscape and lies like a flat plane on the horizon.
