Subsidised Housing in Paris
- Sabine Drey
The housing complex in Paris, designed by Mobile Architectural Office, harmoniously fits into the heterogeneous building context of the residential and business district next to the Gare de l’Est. The facade, clad in white corrugated sheet metal, conceals a solid timber structure. The material is only visible on the exterior in the courtyard, where the volume displays timber siding.
