Lookout Tower in the Hardwald

Resembling a sculpture, the 41 m tall timber structure towers above the treetops of the Hardwald forest. As an attractor, it is highly visible from afar. In the recreational area roughly 10 km north of Zurich, it sets a striking signal for timber construction. The tower was built with wood exclusively sourced from the surrounding forest. Up to eight different wood species were selected in order to meet particular requirements.
