Marga Klompé Lecture Hall Building in Tilburg

At a first glance it seems strange that a timber building in the Netherlands is clad in natural stone from Portugal. In the case of the Marga Klompé lecture hall and study building on campus in Tilburg it actually makes sense. The team of Powerhouse Company uses the marble facade to refer to the neighbouring Cobbenhagen Building by Jos Bedaux, completed in 1962.
