Twin Daycare Centres near Kassel
- Peter Popp
As the design basis for the two daycare centres on the borders of the municipality of Edermünde in North Hesse, Löser Lott Architekten adopted the linear organisation of the surrounding agricultural landscape and the small scale of the neighbouring residential development. Their proposal comprises two nearly identical building volumes that only differ in terms of colouration: clay red in Besse, old green in Grifte. Both structures feature an intricate interior composition as a response to their respective context. Embedded in the environment, they display a clear geometry and a restrained materials selection.
