Frei Otto's call in 1977 to stop building the way we do still echoes in the mind. In response to this, I would like to ask: "How should we go on?" In view of the revolutions taking place throughout the world in the natural sciences and technical disciplines, it is scarcely surprising that architecture at the beginning of the new century is characterized by a general lack of orientation.
