Discussion: Living Up High

Often the term "high-rise block" has a somewhat negative connotation commonly associated with uniform housing developments from the 1960s and 70s. The new concept of the "housing tower" sounds much more attractive, however, and the acceptance of living at a height has changed. According to a study by the Bulwiengesa research institute, 45.5 per cent of Germans today could imagine living in a high-rise block.
