Antibacterial Coating 

CleanOut is a permanent antibacterial surface treatment with silver ions that Italian company Ragno uses in its Roots ceramic floor- and wall-covering collection. According to the manufacturer, the coating remains permanently active on the covering without attacking the surface. It is designed to counteract the rowth and multiplication of harmful microorganisms. According to Ragno, the bacterial load is reduced by up to 99.9 % and even odours can be neutralised. The Roots collection consists of 40 % recycled materials.
