Heide Wessely
The Munich native studied architecture in her home town and in London. As the youngest graduate of her year and with a British degree in her pocket, she decided to move to Hong Kong, where she worked in graphic design and architecture. Back in Germany, she worked for five years on the planning of laboratory and university buildings before joining Detail as an editor in 1999. She has also taken time off to plan and build small social projects in Sri Lanka and Uganda. In additional to her work at Detail she has also conducted seminars for architects on architectural writing and publishing
