Clear Lines for the Bathroom: Frame & Rest by Norm Architects

This collection represents a light, airy and minimalistic family of bathroom furniture that can grow according to your spatial possibilities. The modular system of consoles and furnishings is complemented with an elegant daybed and stool, both of which are suitable for spaces beyond the bathroom as well.

The graphic-looking pieces are based on black, customizable steel frames. Sinks can be integrated into these, as can surfaces or storage possibilities made of diverse materials such as wood, LivingTec®, marble or stone. The design of the daybed and stools call to mind the Bauhaus; they are made of tubular steel legs with small brass details and cushions upholstered with eco-leather.

Norm Architects developed the collection with a Nordic approach paired with Italian craftsmanship for the Italian label Ex.t in order to serve a new market that more and more often wants movable, light-footed bathroom furniture.

Led by Jonas Bjerre Poulson, Linda Korndal and Kasper Ronn, the architecture and design studio Norm was established in Copenhagen in 2008. Since then, the creators have won a number of prizes, including the Restaurant & Bar Product Design Award 2016 and the Good Design Award 2016.
