DETAIL Modular Construction Congress 2026

Fast, reliable, cost-effective – does modular construction live up to its promises?

Thursday, 15 October 2026 in Munich

There are many different aspects to consider: Which type of prefabrication is suitable for which task? System manufacturers supply bespoke off-the-shelf solutions. Just how atmospheric can modular spaces really be? When does it pay to develop bespoke solutions? Detail’s specialist conference showcases real-world examples, the stories behind their creation, and how the role of the architectural practice is changing in modular construction.

Standardised production processes and optimised material use also conserve resources and budgets. At the same time, serial construction allows remarkable flexibility and adaptability, so that building solutions can be tailored to individual needs and requirements.

At the Detail Modular Construction Congress in September 2026, international experts from architecture and specialist planning will provide valuable insights into planning strategies and share information on prefabrication levels, legal frameworks and regulations.
