Two 3D modules each are connected and form a housing unit. The size of modules is well-suited for transport and permits creating apartments roughly 60 m2 in size.
The platform with dining area and workplace niche is raised by two steps and provides an open view of the impressive Rhine scenery.
The standard rooms feature sufficient space to accommodate four beds. Women, men, and families are as signed to strictly sepa rated sections.
The three existing apartments were also remodelled. They received larger bathrooms and kitchens and, decades after being first occupied, a central heating system.
A sliding partition wall consisting of steel and glass creates a visual connection between the bathroom and the bedroom.
