The living spaces merge into each other seamlessly.
The two-storey main space is bordered by an L-shaped gallery housing a small-scale range of differentiated rooms.
The three existing apartments were also remodelled. They received larger bathrooms and kitchens and, decades after being first occupied, a central heating system.
The two communal living rooms have large areas of glazing and face onto the main circulation route. Positioned at the centre of the ensemble of buildings, they form the social core of the complex.
Untreated oak and light green wall panelling provide the hotel rooms with a private and comfortable atmosphere.
In the areas of the gallery level intended for common and shared uses, bright and gentle colours establish a friendly atmosphere.
The lounge features MDF panelling dyed cobalt blue. The rear wall conceals the access to a staircase leading to the gallery. Seating steps and shelving transform the area into a zone for reading and display.
A view to the alpine world: Swiss pine wood and floral ceiling motifs reminiscent of a Grand Hotel provide the guestrooms with character.
Maple veneer and render without painted finish, steel beams and cement screed floors: the living room displays the entire colour palette and diversity of selected materials of the interior design.
