The volume comprises 730 beds and is structured into eight inter connected houses. Pergolas, trees, and roof terraces accentuate its courtyards.
The roof surface covering 62 × 89 m is oriented to the cardinal directions. The field containing 5488 skylights covers the prayer hall and is rotated by 17°, precisely facing Mecca.
The three storeys are fully glazed and offer all apartments unobstructed views of the lake. Only the two-storey community room located in the middle features a much more introverted design.
Respectfully responding to the original atmosphere of the warehouse, the new built-in elements display restraint.
