DETAIL inside 2/2015
DETAIL inside, the review of interior design and architecture, is published twice yearly alongside DETAIL. The journal pinpoints the latest trends while providing architects and interior designers with all necessary technical information.
This edition of DETAIL inside presents individually designed office concepts that are tailored to their respective users in terms of both layout and outfitting. A “co-working space” for three small businesses in Barcelona is zoned by shining yellow boxes arranged at an angle and serving as rooms for meeting and privacy. A stylized tartan track carpet in lawn green defines the spaces of a football app developer. In Dartford in England a giant piece of spatial furniture connects the two levels of an administrative office. It creates individual workplaces, but most of all dramatizes the way you access the space: the entire office becomes an extraordinarily vivid work environment.
