Object Carpet from Denkendorf near Stuttgart is responding to the growing trend towards the individualisation and zoning of newly-designed working environments with a future-oriented collection. “Facts & Inspirations” comprises 22 innovations in 88 qualities and a total of 1214 colour options. The new floor-generation for the contract sector can be rolled out or laid in the form of self-lying tiles. This carpet innovation, like all other Object Carpet qualities, is also free of bitumen, PVC, latex and harmful emissions. Thanks to the environmentally-friendly material properties, the products bear the German Federal Environment Agency’s “Blue Angel” seal of approval. In addition, there are healthy-living aspects such as fine-dust reduction, impact sound insulation and the improvement of room acoustics. The sound-absorbing properties can even be enhanced by using the optional BlackThermo®Felt backing material. And the TÜV-approved quality of the products also ensures that the floor coverings are always suitable for allergy sufferers.
The decisive factor in the “Facts & Inspirations” collection, however, is the almost infinite range of designs that architects, interior designers and planners can use to give the rooms a unique character. The numerous designs and structures include unicoloured designs that are formally restrained, velour classics in modern designs, and expressive patterns such as the “Places of Origin” part-collection. Their contrasting design comprises eight qualities that are based on models from nature. Correspondingly, they are made of 100 % recycled Econyl® yarn in the appearance of natural cotton. In addition, parts of the collection are made from the robust and particularly durable carpet-fibre Antron®, which is available in different fibre thicknesses, gloss levels and colour variations.
The motto of the collection is “Shaping Spaces”. Whether through colour combinations or by changing the designs – from loops, suede, shags to flat-weave fabrics – room parts can be zoned and floor areas individually designed. Processing techniques, specially-developed yarn structures and the “OC Protect” quality ensure that carpets are highly resistant to dirt, dust and liquids. This means that aesthetics and design potential no longer need to be sacrificed even with heavy use.
