Barclay & Crousse

Sandra Barclay (*1967) and Jean-Pierre Crousse (*1967) have always split their work between their native Lima, Peru, and Paris, France. After studying in Lima, Milan, and Paris, they founded their architectural office in Paris in 1994. In 2006 they relocated to Lima. In the meantime, Barclay & Crousse have risen to prominence in the Latin American architecture scene. In 2016 they co-curated Peru’s pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale; in 2018 they received the Mies Crown Hall of the Americas Award and the Oscar Niemeyer Award for Latin American architecture.
