Looking Back, Looking Forward

To kick off the new year, our January-February issue focuses on a classic construction topic: roof structures. We take a look at clever shed roofs, modular timber constructions, and roof structures that bring daylight into the interior. In our Technology section, the planners at Lüchinger+Meyer explain the effort that went into engineering the sophisticated structure and facade of the new Audemars Piguet museum in Switzerland. The new building was designed by BIG as a double spiral with load-bearing glass facades and green roofs.

2021 will be an exciting year in many ways. In celebration of Detail’s 60th birthday, we have many surprises planned – for both our print and online publications.
