Flat Roof Sealing

The design of a private house in the southwest of Scotland, created by architects Robert Potter and Partners, allows it to merge in with the rugged rocky landscape and offers the inhabitants special proximity with the rugged surroundings.

The EPDM waterproofing membrane Resitrix SK W Full Bond from Carlisle was used to seal the characteristic green roof. The membrane was laid on the surface primer to ensure immediate, strong adhesion with high wind loads. The EPDM waterproofing membrane also has a self-adhesive underside polymer bitumen layer. Its permanent elastic behaviour makes it possible to absorb above-average forces in the area of movement joints without additional measures.
