Global Design Competition

The competition's intention is to gather ideas for technologys that enforce energy savings for restaurants. The aim is to create an exchange stock for such ideas and, at the same time, to have a listing of all design offices serving as a business directory. Goal of the competition is to design a restaurant with a minimum of carbon emmission, e. g. by reducing energy consumption, useage of locally generated energy or systems that reuse surplus energy. This might also have inpact on the menue, the food and the restaurant's suppliers. Every person or group is allowed to enter the Global Design Competition. Deadline for submission is 15 March 2011.
