Heat pump with inverter technology and extended design scope

The System M. air/water heat pump, which GDTS launched a year ago, now has optional inverter technology. This type of compressor only provides heating output when it is needed and only to the extent it is needed. The required room and water temperature is achieved with the lowest-possible energy consumption thanks to the infinitely-variable output adapted to the heat demand. This is also independent of the time of year, because the flexible output of the inverter significantly shortens the warm-up time of the heating process.

In terms of design, the manufacturer has now also gone one step further. In addition to the existing variants with larch-wood cladding or in standard colours, the compact housings can also be monochrome or two-colour in aluminium and over 1600 RAL colours. Also available are new light or dark fibre-cement surfaces. The heat pump, which has already won several design awards, can thus be adapted even more flexibly to the architectural style or the facade material.

The particularly quiet System M is available in various different configurations. It is available with or without a built-in hot water tank, with different output levels from 4 to 16 kW depending on the size of the building and with or without connections for photovoltaic or solar thermal systems. The heat pump system forms a compact indoor unit with all necessary components, and is connected to the outdoor unit via a refrigerant line and an electrical cable. Intelligent control functions assist with installation and everyday operation and control. Settings such as desired temperature, hot-water temperature and quick-heating options can be set using the touch display on the device or via a smartphone app.
