Large Spans

The new logistics hall for ski manufacturer Atomic in Altenmarkt is roofed by a load-bearing system and roof elements made of wood. Rubner took care of the structural analysis, execution planning, production, delivery and assembly, with column-free spans and earthquake resistance among the requirements. The laminated timber beams are 50 metres long, and enabled a cold bridgefree construction over large span widths.
